When grating items like garlic, ginger, fruits, and vegetables,
remember to get the grater “wet” under running water or dipping it in a bowl of water before
you start.
Use the grater “dry” for hard cheese, chocolate, spices, etc…
To Use: Hold item to
grate between your thumb and fore-finger and grate on the bottom of the
grater, back and forth. After grating use the brush to gather the “pulp”
into the middle of the grater, working from the outside in. The “pulp”
will form into a ball and easily brush into your dish. Grate dry items
right onto/into your dish. When done, rinse plate under cold running
water or put in the dishwasher.
